The set includes one sheet of masks (shown in the picture). The masks are made from thin masking tape, which is easy to be peeled off and doesn’t leave any stains. The tape is tested on clear and painted model too. If carefully removed after painting, they can be used over and over again. It is flexible and easily applied over curved surfaces. Semitransparent for easy and accurate placing.

Sukhoi Su-25UB
Frogfoot B is the trainer variant of the Soviet-made Sukhoi Su-25 Rook /NATO codename Frogfoot/. The jet was designed in the late 70s, as a countermeasure for Fairchild A-10. It is a twin-engine, subsonic attack aircraft, with unpressurized cockpit and 4000kgs of weapons load capacity. The UB variant was concieved couple years after the original Su-25 and is used mostly for training. The Su-25UB is also the foundation for the famous Su-25T AKA Su-39 – the Super Grach /Super Rook/. The second cockpit was removed and the space was utilized for fuel & avionics. However, the upgraded version of the plane never saw mass-production.

DN Models’ set
is designed for Trumpeter kit #02277. Unfortunately Trumpeter kit features error in the second cockpit layout. There are two options for the instructor’s canopy. One without and one with periscope. The one without periscope features completely clear top of the canopy, while the other is with metal frame within which the periscope is embedded. Trumpeter kit features clear canopy, however the internal part of the periscope is molded on the clear part. The mask set is designed to avoid the inner part of the periscope leaving enough space for additional work. However in both cases, in order to replicate the plane accurately, aftermarket or scratch building will be required. The canopy masks featured in this set will provide enough for the modeler in both cases.
