Re-usable die-cut paint masks

The set includes three sheet of pre-cut masks (shown in the picture). The masks are made from thin masking tape, which is easy to be peeled off and doesn’t leave any stains. The tape is tested on clear and painted model too. If carefully removed after painting, they can be used over and over again. It is flexible and easily applied over curved surfaces. Semi-transparent for easy and accurate placing.

Horten Ho 229
was a German flying-wing jet powered airplane, developed during the last months of WWII by Reimar and Walter Horten. It was ahead of its time and some of its ideas are used to this very day. Unfortunately, the plane was never put in serial production. It would’ve been one of the greatest aviation achievements of the century. Its prototype was nothing short of that. One of its brilliant features was paint with particles that prevented radar discovery. It was primitive, but revolutionary at the same time. One Horten is preserved today and it can be seen at National Air and Space museum in Washington D.C..

Ho 229
Gotha kits are made by Zoukei-Mura and Takom /at the time of this mask set release/. Two versions are available – Horten 229A and 229B. The latter is a night fighter variant, which includes second crew member and array of antennae. The serial planes never took to the skies and the abovementioned representations in scale are “what-if”. Nevertheless, the kit is with significant size in 32nd scale and is very attractive for WWII and Luftwaffe modeling fans. This mask set includes insignia for both Horten 229A and 229B. It also includes variations of the insignia for both releases – Takom and Zoukei-Mura. Between the two, there are some differences in size and decals. This mask set will be sufficient to cover both. Technical numbers and small letters are not included.
