The set includes one sheet of masks (shown in the picture). The masks are made from thin masking tape, which is easy to be peeled off and doesn’t leave any stains. The tape is tested on clear and painted model too. If carefully removed after painting, they can be used over and over again. It is flexible and easily applied over curved surfaces. Semitransparent for easy and accurate placing.

F-35B
Lightning II is a 5th Generation Fighter Jet with STOVL capabilities. The abbreviation means Short Take-Off, Vertical Landing. It is made by Lockheed Martin Corporation in the USA. The F-35B is designed as a successor to McDonnell Douglas AV-8B Harrier. It is huge generational leap after 2nd generation Harrier and as a platform, has no substitute in the World. Compared to the AV-8B, it features stealth capabilities and more sophisticated integration with modern warfare systems. The F-35B has slightly lower weapons payload and lacks the fuel that A and C models have, which is a sacrifice made to clear space for the fan for the hovering modes. The B-variant is used by US Marines, Italian and Royal NAVY, J.A.S.D.F. and is considered by Spain, Singapore and South Korea.

DN Models’ set
is designed using primarily Italeri quarter scale F-35B kit. The set was also tested on Tamiya’s 48th scale F-35B /#61125/ and the fit is appropriate for both toolings. This mask set features Marines and US Stars elements from the insignia as well as the Bat silhouette. Everything else in terms of insignia should be applied in the form of decals, either OOTB or aftermarket. Decals are not included in this set. This particular plane belongs to Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 242. The squadron, known as the VMFA-242 “Bats”, is based at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan. Decals for that squadron are included in Tamiya’s kit #61125.
