Re-usable die-cut mask set
The set includes two sheets of pre-cut masks (shown in the picture). The masks are made from thin masking tape, which is easy to be peeled off and doesn’t leave any stains. The tape is tested on clear and painted model too. If carefully removed after painting, they can be used over and over again. It is flexible and easily applied over curved surfaces. Semi-transparent for easy and accurate placing.
Hawker Hurricane
Numbers & Insignia is a set designed to cover Revell 1/32 kit #04968. Masks in this DN Models’ set feature most of what is provided on Revell decal sheet. Due to the large area covered with numbers, letters and insignia, using masks for depicting the versions is the most realistic and successful way to replicate the aircraft offered with this Revell release. The size of the British Royal Air Force markings, on Hurricane, as well as on most airplanes used by RAF in that period necessitate the use of masks instead of decals for maximum realism. In 1/32, this is the best way to complete your model if you are after ultimate authenticity and canvas for various weathering options.
Hurricane
was a British fighter of the Second World War. It was built by Hawker Aircraft Ltd., but also by Austin Motor Co., Avions Fairey, Canadian Car & Foundry, Gloster Aircraft Co. and others. Nearly 14 500 examples were built. The plane was initially introduced in 1937 and lacked the grace of appearance typical for later warbirds as the Spitfire. However, Hawker Hurricane was relied upon to fight against the very first waves of invading German airplanes, as well as various uses among different theaters later on in the war. It served as a fighter, bomber, ground support and NAVY platform. The Hawker Hurricane is most famous for the fact that it inflicted around 60 per cent of the Luftwaffe losses during Battle of Britain, nevertheless it remains overshadowed by the Spitfire and the legends revolving around it.
