Re-usable die-cut mask set

The set includes one sheet of pre-cut masks (shown in the picture). The masks are made from thin masking tape, which is easy to be peeled off and doesn’t leave any stains. The tape is tested on clear and painted model too. If carefully removed after painting, they can be used over and over again. It is flexible and easily applied over curved surfaces. Semi-transparent for easy and accurate placing.

HobbyBoss B-24J
in quarter scale is a kit that is rather controversial among modelers. Its accuracy properties have been discussed widely even before its release, based on the 32nd scale tooling from that same company. The latter features some flaws in terms of shape and size, which even though not serious enough to ruin the kit as a whole are rather annoying for modelers. In 48th scale there are alternatives, which creates additional discussions featuring numerous opinions on the matter. Nevertheless, Hobbyboss’ B-24J kit is the newest member of quarter scale Liberator family and in general, the kit is positively accepted.

Canopy mask set
for HobbyBoss B-24J is designed specifically for kit #81774. Other toolings will need different set of canopy masks, while in the same time different variants of the HobbyBoss that follow the J release will feature different clear parts. The set features only exterior masks. HobbyBoss’ kit comes with pre-cut mask out of the box, however the accuracy of the included product in not satisfactory. DN Models’ canopy & windows mask set is tailored specifically for the outer windows, while the mask included in the kit can be used for the interior if one decides to show some particular section. Additional masking might be needed, based on the inaccuracies of OOTB masks.
