Re-usable die-cut paint masks

The set includes one sheet of pre-cut masks (shown in the picture). The masks are made from thin masking tape, which is easy to be peeled off and doesn’t leave any stains. The tape is tested on clear and painted model too. If carefully removed after painting, they can be used over and over again. It is flexible and easily applied over curved surfaces. Semi-transparent for easy and accurate placing.

Douglas A-1
Skyraider was prop-driven attack plane developed during late stages of WWII. It came out too late to participate, however later conflicts were perfect theater for the Skyraider to prove its qualities. It was used in Korea and Vietnam, as well as in many other smaller fights with great success. A-1 was flown by USA, France, UK, Vietnam and many others. Skyraider was also the very first gun air-to-air killer of the Vietnam Air war, which, for a prop-driven plane was quite unusual. Its first kill was North Vietnamese MiG-17, recorded on 20th of June, 1965. Mostly however, Douglas A-1 Skyraider was used for ground attack and support missions.

Vietnam Air War
was the war that made Skyraider truly famous. Used both by US NAVY and USAF, many Skyraiders flew support missions and participated in the rescue operations for downed US pilots. The Douglas prop was always in the hottest zones of the conflict. The high maneuverability of the straight wing plane made it perfect for staying close to the downed pilots and help until rescue helicopters arrive. US NAVY used their Skyraiders in light gray colors, however, USAF planes were painted in the standard for the Vietnam War – earth tone camouflage. The same camouflage scheme was used on F-104 Starfighter, F-105 Thunderchief, F-4 Phantom and on F-111 Aardvark.
