Exterior & Interior included

The set includes one sheet of pre-cut masks (shown in the picture). The masks are made from thin masking tape, which is easy to be peeled off and doesn’t leave any stains. The tape is tested on clear and painted model too. If carefully removed after painting, they can be used over and over again. It is flexible and easily applied over curved surfaces. Semi-transparent for easy and accurate placing.

Horten Ho 229
was a German flying wing jet aircraft, developed during the second half of WWII by Reimar and Walter Horten. It was part of the effort to answer Hermann Goring’s 3×1000 requirement. A plane that could fly 1000km, carrying 1000kg of bombs with 1000km/h speed. This request was unthinkable at the time of its creation and only a jet aircraft could fit to the specs demanded. Nevertheless, brilliant German engineering teams answered with multiple proposals, some of which remained on the drawing boards, but others – giving birth to ideas that are used to this very day. Horten Ho 229 was built in only 3 samples, one of which was captured during Operation Paperclip and is currently on display at Smithsonian National Air and Space museum in Washington, D.C..

Takom
made 32nd scale representation of Horten Ho 229A and Ho 229B. At the time of this release, Takom alongside with Zoukei-Mura are the only two companies that produce Gotha 229 in that scale. This mask set is designed to cover the canopy and wheels of the A model /Takom #32001/ and includes interior and exterior masks for the canopy and masks for the wheel rims. It is not to be used for the B version due to some differences in the canopy and should not be used with Zoukei-Mura’s Horten kit in the same scale.
