The set includes one sheet of pre-cut masks (shown in the picture). The masks are made from thin masking tape, which is easy to be peeled off and doesn’t leave any stains. The tape is tested on clear and painted model too. If carefully removed after painting, they can be used over and over again. It is flexible and easily applied over curved surfaces. Semi-transparent for easy and accurate placing.

F-4B Tamiya
kit was released in the middle of 2021. Surprisingly, with Hasegawa, Academy and Zoukei-Mura already on the quarter scale Phantom market, Tamiya decided to jump in as well. Hasegawa is relatively old tooling and is not competitive, but both Academy and Zoukei-Mura Phantoms are brilliant and Tamiya’s announcement was quite surprising. However, the level of accuracy and beautiful engineering that Tamiya are famous for weight in for this new release. The fit – as we all know – is second to none when it comes down to Tamiya, so it is no surprise that this F-4B was highly anticipated despite the hard competition.

Canopy
and wheels paint mask set from DN Models covers what is already included in Tamiya’s Phantom II kit, however DN Models’ masks are pre-cut and suitable for more than one-time application if used with care. The set includes interior and exterior for the canopy, as well as wheel paint masks. This set is dedicated specifically for Tamiya’s #61121 F-4B Phantom II kit. The material used with DN Models’ set also differs from Tamiya’s mask stencils featured in the #61121 kit. DN Models’ masks will ease the process of cutting and prepping the separate pieces, since they are ready to use out of the box.
