Re-usable die-cut camo mask set
The set includes two sheets of masks (shown in the picture). The masks are made from thin masking tape, which is easy to be peeled off and doesn’t leave any stains. The tape is tested on clear and painted model too. If carefully removed after painting, they can be used over and over again. It is flexible and easily applied over curved surfaces. Semitransparent for easy and accurate placing.
Chengdu J-20
is a Chinese-made fifth generation supersonic jet fighter. It is a single-seat, twin-engine stealth plane, currently in use solely with Chinese People’s Liberation Army Air Force. The Stealth Fighter name is “Mighty Dragon” in China, but the official NATO reporting name is “Fagin”. Three variants are available: J-20A, which is the initial production variant, J-20B, with slight external alterations and new engines and a twin-seat variant in development stage, known as J-20S. The second seat is to be occupied by an operator to conduct airborne early warning and control, something that no other 5th generation Stealth fighter in the World has implemented thus far. More than 300 Mighty Dragons have been made.
Camouflage
schemes used on the J-20 are something untypical for fifth generation jet fighter. The only other 5th generation jet to be camouflaged is F-35A Aggressor/Adversary , but it is a copy of the camo scheme presented in this set and camouflaged Lightnings are used only to simulate J-20s. The original J-20 features two camouflage options. One is the Splinter camouflage, while the other is the traditional pattern /rounded shapes camo/, both options based on dark grey nuances. It is not clear does the camouflage paint interferes with the Stealth capabilities of the jet plane. Since paint job and the qualities of the medium are tightly related to the “invisibility” of the jet, there are speculations that J-20 is not as effective as US made 5th generation jets in service. It isn’t clear however, is there a new paint product available in China that is capable of doing the job properly.
