Su-27 Compass Ghost Ukrainian Flanker Camouflage Paint Mask set 1/48

The set includes two sheets of masks (shown in the picture). The masks are made from thin masking tape, which is easy to be peeled off and doesn’t leave any stains. The tape is tested on clear and painted model too. If carefully removed after painting, they can be used over and over again. It is flexible and easily applied over curved surfaces. Semitransparent for easy and accurate placing.
Su-27 Ukrainian Flanker
is arguably the most recognizable Flanker in the World. Ukrainians substituted the standard Soviet camo scheme with their own Splinter Camo design, that became very popular and was very attractive as well. It was based on medium and dark blue colors and for the bottom of the aircraft, light blue, similar to the original primer of the Sukhoi Flanker family. Later on, Digital camouflage appeared. It is still in use with some aircraft and it superseded the Splinter camo mentioned above. The colors are slightly darker shades of blue and the pattern is even more attractive. However, the actual functionality of both those camouflage schemes is not confirmed, however is popular due to its unique design.
Compass Ghost Camo
is the latest camouflage scheme that was applied on Ukrainian Su-27 Flankers. It is similar, but not exactly the same as the initial F-15A/C camouflages. This paint scheme is battle tested and proven to be extremely effective. In addition to the grey colors, the rudders are painted in Ukraine’s flag colors and at least one aircraft features rectangular Ukraine flags on the outer side of its intakes in front of the landing gear struts. This DN Models’ mask set is made for single seater airplanes only. Besides the Compass Ghost Camo pattern, It includes the Ukrainian insignia as well. The insignia included is visible on the pictures of this product and is limited to the larger objects. Any additional insignia, technical markings and stencils should be applied in the form of decals.
